It is a vivid memory, showing up on the doorstep of 824 Trust Street, having learned the house was for sale. Rylee greeted us, before Carter did. Sam was not there at that time and we returned for a later meeting. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, and spent many a sunday afternoon on that porch [that Carter built], gazing and dreaming as hummingbirds whirred around us. It was such a wonderful, peaceful time. I smile whenever I think about the life we shared in the perfect little house, nestled on the side of Mt.Sequoyah. -Dan Seto.
