I am thankful for the times you answered the phone when I called for Sam at Home Depot or at Trust Street, and for the brief time we met during my visit to Pennsylvania. I am thankful that I had that opportunity to put a voice and a face to the friend Sam adored so much. You and I did not know each other well personally per se, but through our dear Sam, I did get to know you and I suspect you knew me, too. Stories and little anecdotes that Sam would tell me about you, of silly inside jokes or funny moments you shared, even made me laugh, too. Sam was always diligent about sending photos of your various projects (she was understandably so proud to showcase your work), and I have always been truly impressed by your talent. Most importantly, Sam made it clear what an amazing friend you were to her. Maybe not in so many specific words, but I knew...there was never any question about that. So many wonderful things were said about you over the years, and so many wonderful things will be said in the years ahead, in your memory. You are loved immensely. You are missed terribly.
